The NormalNotes app collects nothing. There is no account, no analytics, no tracking, and no server that ever sees your data.

What the app collects

Nothing. NormalNotes does not collect, store, transmit, or sell any personal information. We have no analytics or crash-reporting SDKs, no advertising, and no third-party trackers.

Where your notes live

Your notes are the plain files in your own Obsidian vault. They stay on your device and sync only through your iCloud account, exactly like any other file in iCloud Drive. We never receive a copy and have no way to read your notes.

Permissions

NormalNotes asks for access to the vault folder you choose so it can read and edit your notes. That access stays on your device and is used for nothing else.

Children

NormalNotes is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page.
